Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your healthcare services may cost.
Under federal law, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance to pay for care with an estimate of the expected charges for scheduled healthcare services.
You may ask Unscripted Therapy Center for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service. If you schedule therapy at least 3 business days in advance, you may also be entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate before your scheduled service.
A Good Faith Estimate is not a bill and does not require you to receive services from Unscripted Therapy Center.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate provided by a specific provider or facility, you may be able to dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
